5754 is a high-quality vertically cast plate with excellent suitability for optical anodizing applications. 5754 cast plates are characterized by an outstandingly homogeneous microstructure and extraordinarily low porosity across the entire cross section. Cast plates of this alloy can be characterized by being easily optically anodized, by their outstanding machinability (HSC-milling), gas tightness, and dimensional stability.

Applications include mechanical and special-purpose engineering, pharma and food industry, and areas that require highest standards of anodized surfaces.
